Our lands

Les Àrgoles is a vast land in Miravet located behind the castle, between 150 and 300 meters above the sea level. The land has an extension of 80 hectares, from which 50 are used to cultivate olives, adding up to 10.000 olive trees.

Surrounded by the Mediterranean weather, with optimal meteorological conditions and next to the river Ebre, an excellent olive oil has always been extracted from these lands.

These lands appear as olive tree plantations in documents from the Middle Age (13^th and 14^th Centuries), when Miravet was the principal residence of the Templars of the Catalan-Aragonese Confederation. By then, people were already growing olive trees in Les Àrgoles.

We keep on doing it. We inherited the passion, the desire and the methodology from our ancestors. This brings us to elaborate an olive oil appreciated by the most delicate palates and, moreover, it brings together the qualities of our home products.
